Never cut these plants in September


September is the first month of autumn and there is a distinct change in the air! Leaves are starting to turn colour, flowering plants are running out of steam,  and the temptation to get back into the garden for a tidy up is compelling. However, before your get to work with you secateurs and shears, take a moment to check both what needs and what does not need cutting now. Get this wrong and you could be removing a huge amount of next years flowering wood which could ruin next years ornamental displays! In this video, English horticulturist Simon hopes to point you in the right direction by discussing which plants should never be cut in September!
