Never Cut these Plants in January


January is the first month of the gardening year and there is a distinct change in the air! Any leaves that could have dropped have dropped, winter flowering plants are beginning to show their colours,  and the temptation to get back into the garden for a tidy up can be compelling for some. However, before your get to work with you secateurs and shears, take a moment to check both what needs and what does not need cutting now. Get this wrong and you could be removing a huge amount of next years flowering wood which could ruin next years ornamental displays!
