Lorna, our resident family 'Tortoise Whisperer', received a call a couple of weeks ago regarding a Mediterranean spur-thighed tortoise that needed rehoming after its elderly owner began to find it too difficult to look after him. So in this video Lorna introduces Timmy the tortoise, explains the back story as to how we came to rescue and rehomed him as well as discuss his welfare and future winter protection.
