Great Dixter is home to one of the few exotic gardens ever designed and grown in the UK that still exists in roughly its original form. It is also the inspiration for our own garden as well as this gardening channel, so as gardens Lorna and I owe it a debt of thanks. We get to Visit Great Dixter every five years or so which means we have an idea as to how it looked in the past and can make a comparison to how it looked in this latest visit. It is as good and as inspiring as it one was?
