How to Plant and Grow Glory Lily tubers - Gloriosa superba, rothschildiana


Glory lilies arguably produce some of the most exotic of all flower structures, yet are easily grown from tubers. While they are not hardy enough to over winter in our English climate the tubers can simply be lifted and stored in cool, dark dry conditions until the following spring. How to grow African Mexican Marigolds from Seed -Tagetes erecta


If you look around the garden centres it will seem that the impressive pot-grown African marigold, also known as the Mexican marigold, has gone out of fashion. Why? Because they no longer seem to be on sale there any more! However, if you are keen to grow these in your garden all is not lost as the seed of the African/Mexican marigold is still readily available from both garden centres and online retailors. Luckily this plant is very easy to grow from seed so in this video English horticulturist Simon explains how to grow African Mexican Marigolds (Tagetes erecta) from seed.
