Let's be honest, once Camellias can look messy once they have put out the new season growth so the temptation to prune them back into line can be very tempting however there is a big problem in doing so. By removing the new growth you will also take with it the plant material which produce the flowering buds and without these there will be no flowers on show the following spring!
