You often see sections of ginger roots for sale come the spring, and if you are lucky a few pot grown plants, possibly in flower at your local garden centre. However we are used to being sold attractive, exotic plants that just wont survive outside in our English gardens. So are there any species of hybrids of ginger plants that will service our cold, wet freezing winters?
