Despite being a subtropical plant, bedding geraniums are surprisingly hardy. However, while they will not be able to cope with a hard frost, or wet, freezing roots, it is possible to overwinter geraniums with a certain amount of winter care management. In this video, English horticulturist Simon explains several ways in which you can protect your geraniums over the winter period to ensure that you have your plants survive ready for planting back outside in the spring.
